DISPATCHES / DATA HANDLING

Your information.

Newsletter registration

We store your email address, registration and consent times, and subscription status to send Chronicles of Cryptids development news. Registration is optional.

Email delivery and engagement

Cloudflare hosts this website and stores newsletter registration and engagement records in its D1 database.

Resend processes email delivery. When tracking is enabled, email events tell us whether a message was delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, or reported as spam. These records help us understand engagement and stop sending to addresses that cannot receive mail.

Email opens are approximate. Image blocking can prevent an open from being recorded, while mail privacy features and automated scanners can record activity without a person reading the message.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. After unsubscribing, your address remains on our suppression list so we can honor your preference. Repeating the public signup does not override that preference.

Cookies and access

The public archive does not require an account. Administrators use an essential session cookie that expires after eight hours. Subscriber records and engagement reports are only available to authenticated administrators.

Requests about your data

Reply to any field dispatch to request a copy or deletion of your information. We do not sell newsletter addresses.
